The greatest wines

The greatest wines

Bordeaux wines have their hierarchy defined through different classifications such as the official classification of Médoc wines and the classification of Saint-Emilion wines. In Burgundy, the appellations are organised in a pyramidal structure with Premiers Crus at the top, followed by Grands Crus at the summit (Romanée Conti, Echézeaux, Chambertin, Bonnes Mares, Clos de Vougeot...). For other French vineyards, this supposedly qualitative organisation is not as clear or easy to understand, if it exists at all. There are obviously Great Wines in each region that stand out for their qualities. On this page, you will find all the greatest wines from major producers and estates (Pétrus, Romanée Conti, Rayas, Clos Rougeard, Krug...).
