The year 2021 was particularly complicated, with a painful frost episode in April followed by a rather gloomy summer. However, there was a very nice late season which allowed the grapes to ripen.

The Bordeaux wines produced in 2021 show a nice freshness, with fine tannins and red fruit aromas.

For Burgundy wines from 2021, it's also a difficult vintage with reduced production, but of high quality, especially for white wines. The red Burgundy wines from 2021 are elegant and well-structured. The white wines offer a nice acidity and great purity.

The Rhône region offers wines of remarkable quality thanks to a well-controlled health status of the vines. They come from a good harvest with a balanced yield, and the Syrah, slightly more generous, produces fresh and harmonious wines.

In Alsace, the wines from 2021 are of varied quality, with some grape varieties particularly affected by the very complex weather conditions. The Dirler-Cadé domain is particularly present and noteworthy for the 2021 vintage, offering wines of exceptional quality.
