1951 Wine
It's no secret that the 1951 vintage was not a success. The summer, especially the month of July, was stormy, followed by a very cold August and an icy and rainy September. As a result, the harvest had low yields and poor quality. There wasn't a single region where this vintage succeeded. The harvest being minuscule, it makes these wines very rare. Bottles of wine from the 1951 vintage are as precious as they are unique for a collection, such as the great châteaux Lafite Rothschild 1951 and Petrus 1951.
