1930 Wine
The wines of 1930, a difficult vintage. 1930 was not a great year for Bordeaux wines. The unpredictable weather severely compromised the grape maturity. However, the rarity of great châteaux in this vintage such as Château Haut Brion 1930, Château Margaux 1930 or Château Mouton Rothschild 1930 are now highly sought after by collectors. Sweet white wines were also impacted by the humidity and coolness of this year 1930. The famous Château d'Yquem 1930 from Sauternes did not produce its wine in this vintage.
