The wine-growing region of Jura is one of the most singular vineyards in France. Located between Burgundy and Switzerland, it covers approximately 2,000 hectares and produces characterful wines from primarily the savagnin, chardonnay, poulsard, trousseau and pinot noir grape varieties. Renowned for its iconic appellations such as Arbois, Château-Chalon, L'Étoile and Côtes du Jura, the Jura vineyard is world-famous for its vin jaune and vin de paille. Thanks to a continental climate and terroirs rich in marl and limestone, the wines of Jura offer remarkable freshness, great aromatic complexity and excellent ageing potential.
