Château La Conseillante is a Bordeaux wine estate. The vineyard, of average size, covers 12 hectares. Located on the Pomerol plateau with a clay-gravel terroir and iron-rich subsoil, the wine comes from a grape variety that, while certainly emphasising Merlot (70%), includes Cabernet Franc at 25%, giving the wines a particular freshness, complexity and richness. La Conseillante is recognisable by its purple capsule. Since 2016, La Conseillante has been certified HVE 3 (High Environmental Value) with over 80% organic and/or biocontrol products, as well as the use of biodynamics and phytotherapy.

The finest achievements of the estate are the Château La Conseillante 1982, La Conseillante 1998, La Conseillante 2005 and 2009.

The name La Conseillante first appeared in the mid-18th century. It was bequeathed by an influential person who managed the property nearly 300 years ago: Catherine Conseillan.
