1960 Wine
The wines of 1960, a satisfactory vintage in Burgundy. The 1960 wines in Bordeaux are mediocre. The unstable and rainy weather disrupted the quality of the grapes as well as the harvests. However, the best wines of this vintage are: Château Latour 1960, Château Montrose 1960, and Château Gruaud Larose 1960. On the other hand, in Burgundy, the red wines of the 1960 vintage are very good, despite the weather conditions deteriorating shortly before the harvest. There are still good quality wines, well-structured and with character.
