CHÂTEAU D'ARCHE 2000
- New
The Official Classification of Bordeaux wines of 1855 established a classification of growths that cannot be modified. This classification distinguishes between red wines, all from the Médoc (with the exception of Château Haut Brion), and white wines on the other hand.
All the great sweet white wines located in the Sauternes and Barsac appellations are ranked in 3 levels in the Sauternes classification:
The peculiarity of this classification is that the only Château to be ranked as a Premier Cru Supérieur is Château d'Yquem.
