Maison Delas Frères
Maison Delas et frères was founded in 1835 in Tournon-sur-Rhône. Managed by the Delas family until 1977, the estate was acquired by the family-owned company Champagnes Deutz. Today, Fabrice is at the helm of Deutz/Delas. Domaine Delas Frères operates several plots in different appellations. The estate now covers 32 hectares: 10 hectares in Hermitage, 17 hectares in Crozes-Hermitage and 2 hectares in Saint-Joseph. The Domain owns vines of about 40 years of age and harvests by hand. Among the iconic wines of Maison Delas are: Delas Les Bessards in red Hermitage, Delas Seigneur de Maugiron and Delas La Landonne, both in the Côte-Rôtie appellation.
For tasting or as a gift, we recommend the Delas Les Bessards 2010 rated 100/100 by Robert Parker.
