Loire Region

The Loire Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site, stretches from the Atlantic to the gates of the Massif Central. It is one of the largest and most diverse wine regions in France. A cradle of great geological and climatic richness, it gives birth to an exceptional range of wines, reflecting the diversity of its terroirs.

The Loire vineyard is divided into several emblematic sub-regions: Nantais, Anjou-Saumur, Touraine and Centre-Loire. Each is distinguished by its grape varieties, traditions and winemaking style.

Loire wines are captivating for their freshness, elegance, and great aging potential for certain appellations. They cover all colors and styles: dry or sweet whites, light or full-bodied reds, fine rosés and sparkling wines.

Among the greatest Loire producers are HUET domain and Clos Rougeard domain.
