The 2018 Vouvray Le Mont Moelleux Première Trie is pure, deep and flinty on the concentrated nose, with very fine oak, toffee and potted ginger aromas. Lush, sweet and generous yet precise and crystalline on the palate, it features very fine tannins, lingering salinity and positive energy. This is a compact, persistent, tightly woven and stimulating Chenin from the Le Mont terroir that reveals firm, tensioned structure and a young finish with potential to improve and refine.

Domaine Huet
Domaine Huet is a renowned wine estate located in Vouvray, France, in the Loire Valley. Founded in 1928 by Victor Huet and his son Gaston, the estate is famous for producing exceptional wines from the Chenin Blanc grape variety. The Huet family has been making wines in Vouvray for over 90 years. They are pioneers of biodynamic viticulture and have been practising this holistic approach since the early 1980s. The estate's philosophy is to produce wines that express the unique character of their terroir.
The vines are planted on three distinct terroirs:
- Le Mont: a siliceous and clay-limestone terroir that produces elegant and complex wines.
- Le Haut-Lieu: a clay-rich terroir that produces powerful and structured wines.
- Clos du Bourg: a limestone terroir that produces rich and round wines.
