Château Branaire Ducru

Château Branaire Ducru is a fourth classified growth (classification of Bordeaux wines in 1855) of the Saint-Julien appellation in Médoc. The vineyard extends over nearly 60 hectares of vines. Château Branaire-Ducru is today one of the jewels of Saint Julien. This Grand Cru Classé is sought after for its very pure red fruit. Its typical composition of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, opens with dazzling aromas of raspberry and blackberry, before becoming more complex on the palate with delicate nuances of mineral, pencil lead, smoke and flowers. of spring… The Château also produces a second wine: Duluc de Branaire Ducru.

We suggest the Château Branaire Ducru 1975, and Branaire Ducru 1982, 1989. Then, we suggest the Château Branaire Ducru 1995 and the 1996 vintage. Finally, the Château Branaire Ducru 2002 and 2005 are also exceptional.
