An elegant glass of Cabernet Franc from Saumur. A very refined style, neither overly robust nor rustic. It offers aromas of black fruit, fresh green notes and a hint of earth or clay. On the palate, it is soft, approachable and playful. There is invigorating freshness and menthol-like green notes, yet no hint of underripeness. Ripe black fruit flavours are complemented by a touch of raspberry. Soft, rounded tannins lead to a beautifully long, rich finish.
