The Vieux Château Certan estate is a Bordeaux wine estate. The Vieux Château Certan property is located in the heart of the Pomerol plateau. The vineyard covers 14 hectares and consists of 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. This grape variety composition is explained by the desire to find the best possible balance between Merlot and Cabernet Franc. On the Vieux Château Certan terroir, Cabernet Franc reaches an exceptional level of maturity and quality. The estate also produces a second wine 'Gravette de Certan'.

The wines of Vieux Château Certan are concentrated and benefit from a sumptuous aromatic palette. We recommend the Vieux Château Certan 1985 and Vieux Château Certan 2005.
