Château Lafon Rochet
Château Lafon-Rochet is a Bordeaux wine estate located in the Saint Estèphe appellation. The grand vin is classified as a fourth growth in the official 1855 classification. The estate's vineyard spans over 45 hectares of vines, composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The estate also produces a second wine 'Les Pèlerins de Lafon-Rochet'.
The wines from this estate are among the most consistent in the appellation. Intentionally typical of Saint Estèphe, Lafon-Rochet wines are as opulent as they are harmonious and can be enjoyed earlier than their neighbours. This is why we recommend the Lafon Rochet 1979, the Château Lafon-Rochet 1982 as well as the Château Lafon-Rochet 2005.
