Wine Enthusiast March - 2020
Wine Enthusiast
This bold, structured wine is packed with blackberry fruits and ripe tannins. Freshness and structure from the Cabernet Sauvignon are very present, giving a crisp edge to the solid backbone. This is a wine for ageing. Don't drink before 2023.

Jean-Marc Quarin May - 2023
Jean-Marc Quarin
Beautiful dark red, followed by a lovely nose, intense, fine, fruity and vanilla-scented. The palate presents itself with tactile softness, with a meticulous touch, a melting body. It finishes slightly creamy and above all irresistible, evoking refined nuances. One can enjoy it immediately.

Adrian van Velsen - vvWine
Profound, with cherries, cassis and a floral note, accompanied by spices, cedarwood and a distinct minerality. On the palate with silky tannins, which embrace the delicate fruit, elegant, with freshness and a cassis-emphasised, long finish, very elegant and a delight from now. Now until 2038.

Falstaff January - 2023
Falstaff
Dark ruby garnet, violet reflections, subtle brightening at the rim. Subtle roasted aromas, dark cherries, delicate liquorice notes, floral nuances, inviting bouquet. Medium-bodied, red cherries, fine acidity, cherries on the finish, well developed, delicately saline on the aftertaste, a finesse-rich food companion.

Jeff Leve - The Wine Cellar Insider
Forest floor, cedar, tobacco leaf and fresh, dark red berries open the wine. Ripe, sweet tannins, juicy, fresh cassis and plenty of fruit and cigar wrapper in the zesty finish to satisfy a discerning consumer. This wine has a lot of lift but the tannins are soft enough, that you should be able to enjoy this in a few years, and it's going to age well too.

Wine Spectator March - 2020
Wine Spectator
Bright and fresh, featuring floral, cassis and plum aromas and flavours allied to a sleek, iron-tinged frame. Racy tension through the finish lets the fruit play out while the minerality blossoms. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. Best from 2022 through 2038.

Jancis Robinson April - 2018

Very dark with black core. Extremely pure cassis nose. Tight and dark and savoury on the palate with graphite dark freshness. Very fine texture, dry but not drying. Paper layers of subtle tannins building density but shot through with pure cassis scent. Extremely moreish and fresh. Long and scented on the finish.

Bettane et Desseauve September -
Bettane et Desseauve
Great robe, powerful and controlled nose in its straightness and oak integration, great material, great texture. It has everything to age well and above all a complexity worthy of its origin.

Château Latour
Château Latour

Château Latour is one of the most iconic estates in the Pauillac appellation and a founding reference in Bordeaux wine history. Its name dates back to the 14th century, linked to the presence of a watchtower on the Gironde estuary, whose proximity continues to profoundly mark the identity of the vineyard. From the 18th century onwards, the wines of Château Latour have been recognised for their consistency and ageing ability, establishing themselves among the greatest wines of the Médoc.

Classified as a Premier Grand Cru Classé in the official 1855 classification, Château Latour occupies a central position at the pinnacle of the Bordeaux hierarchy. The estate is built upon particularly homogeneous deep gravel terroir, dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, which gives the wines a powerful structure, remarkable depth and great consistency of expression.

The signature of Château Latour is distinguished by a dense tannic architecture and demanding construction, favouring precision and longevity over immediate appeal. Iconic vintages such as Château Latour 1945, Château Latour 1961, Château Latour 1990, Château Latour 1996, Château Latour 2000 and Château Latour 2009 illustrate the estate's ability to consistently express the excellence of the Pauillac terroir and the singularity of its style.
