Jean-Marc Quarin January - 1993
Jean-Marc Quarin
Burgundy red color. Purple. Medium intensity. Lively. Medium intensity nose. Fresh. Subtly oaky. Fresh when swirled. Elegant. Fruity and vanilla. Smooth attack developing into a round, medium-bodied, fresh, and fruity structure. Good, supple, and gently oaky tannic development, but not very deep. Fresh, clean finish with a powerful edge. Medium length. Beautiful wine. Well done for the year. Very consistent and always very clean flavors in this vintage.

So polished, so fine; this estate is nearly always producing fabulous wines. Medium body, delicate tannins and pretty berry and mint flavors; medium finish..

Pale to mid ruby – doesn't even look as though it's trying! Lightly, pleasantly scented. Lively and fresh though very light and nervy. A simple wine but by no means a failure. Slightly dry tannins on the finish.

Château Sociando Mallet
Chateau Sociando-Mallet Cru Bourgeois Haut-Medoc wine from the Gironde. Chateau Sociando-Mallet is a wine prized by lovers of fine wines, as evidenced by its annual sales success in futures. The wine of Jean Gautreau is a great forgotten the 1855 classification. Because it is not formally part of the nobility of the Crus of the Medoc - even as it competes more than one. - Chateau Sociando-Mallet must remain prudent in its price level. It offers one of the best price-pleasure of all the great Bordeaux!.
