La Revue du Vin de France
Green Guide 2025 The HW version is a very great bottle, all in pointillist and aniseed flavours, nestled in a comfortable softness of flesh, very stretched and fine on the finish.

Domaine Dirler-Cadé

Domaine Dirler-Cadé is one of the major references in Alsace viticulture, recognised for its pioneering commitment to organic farming and biodynamics and for the precision of its interpretations of great Alsatian terroirs. Located in Bergholtz, south of Colmar, the estate is part of a long family tradition whilst embodying a modern, rigorous vision deeply respectful of the living world.

The vineyard covers approximately 18 hectares, a significant part of which is classified as Alsace Grand Cru, with emblematic terroirs such as Saering, Kessler, Spiegel and Kitterlé. Each plot is worked individually, in a logic of fine understanding of soils and their natural expression. The estate was certified in organic farming as early as the late 1990s and has practised biodynamics since the early 2000s, long before this approach became a quality standard in Alsace.

The wines of Domaine Dirler-Cadé are distinguished by their aromatic purity, mineral tension and remarkable ageing capacity. The great cuvées from Riesling, Pinot Gris or Gewurztraminer offer a precise reading of the terroir, without artifice, favouring balance and depth. Vintages such as Domaine Dirler-Cadé 2018, Domaine Dirler-Cadé 2021, Domaine Dirler-Cadé 2022, Domaine Dirler-Cadé 2019 illustrate the consistency and exacting standards of an estate that is now essential for lovers of great Alsace wines.
