Jean-Noël Boidron, owner, inherited his passion for wine from his family, established at Château Calon since 1855. With rigour, Jean-Noël Boidron produces his wines in harmony with nature, ploughing the vineyards, severe pruning, elimination of defective grape clusters, manual harvesting and fermentation with indigenous yeasts, followed by 12 to 18 months of ageing in new Allier oak barrels. The resulting wines are very well-balanced, with intense colour, fruit and spice aromas, with present but delicate tannins. Château Corbin Michotte wines are designed for ageing, evolving over time to offer complex tertiary aromas for the greatest satisfaction of wine enthusiasts. They are recognised by French and international wine press for their remarkable organoleptic qualities.
