Jancis Robinson October - 2022
Jancis Robinson
A nose that screams Jamet – edgy herbal tones from whole-bunch fermentation mingle with peppercorn, smoked bacon and pure, vibrant blueberry fruit. There's a hint of balsamic to the fruit on the palate – intense yet lifted and floral. Bright, with chalky tannins cloaked in pure red and blue fruit, there is just a hint of olive tapenade on the back end. Delicious.

Green Guide 2021 Aerate this wine to enjoy its classic nose. The oak is restrained, the whole bunch brings a burst of freshness on the finish; the palate is fleshy, with a tannin sap that gives it beautiful length. This is a wine built for ageing, to be waited for patiently.

Bettane et Desseauve
Pronounced red fruit flavours with an unusual vanilla hint for the estate, the palate is round with a dynamic finish, but everything is not yet in place even though this wine deserves a good decanting. The tannins are fine, patience is required. The 2018s will bring a fruitier expression, the 2019s will be another notch above but still with beautiful freshness and balance.
