Fresh and silky with berry, plum and cherry aromas and flavours. Medium- to full-bodied. Balanced. A little more concentration would be nice.

Château Latour À Pomerol
Château Latour à Pomerol. After establishing itself in the 40s, 50s and 60s as one of the most sumptuous Bordeaux wines, Latour à Pomerol experienced a difficult period, producing in the following 3 decades wines that were only very good, not exceptional. In recent years, the cru has improved and rejoined the group of the top twenty Pomerol wines. In style, it is more reminiscent of Trotanoy or La Fleur Petrus, to which it was generally compared during its heyday. The wines of Latour à Pomerol are remarkably coloured and dark, and generally stand out as powerful, opulent and fleshy Pomerols. The vineyard is composed of 2 plots, one of which is located near the church of Pomerol, on a bed of deep gravel, and the other, smaller one, on a sandier and lighter soil
