Jean-Marc Quarin June - 1994
Jean-Marc Quarin
Bordeaux red. Light intensity. Slightly evolved. Clear. Medium intensity. Somewhat faded fruit on a background of light oak. Likewise. Slightly peppery. Lightly smoky. Subtle attack. Château Figeac
Château Figeac

Château Figeac is a Bordeaux wine estate located in the commune of Saint Emilion. Premier grand cru classé in the official Saint-Emilion classification, it is one of the most influential châteaux of the appellation. The Château also produces a second wine: La Grange Neuve de Figeac.

The wines of Château Figeac have excellent ageing potential.

The finest achievements are the 1961 vintage, 1982, the 1985 wines, grand crus from 1986. More recent Château Figeac vintages show more power, roundness and fruity notes, the 2000 vintage, the 2005 and 2009 wines are spectacular.
