Robert PARKER - The Wine Advocate
I still remember tasting the the 2007 Châteauneuf du Pape Reserve des Celestins just after bottling (which, given the long elevage here, wasn't that long ago) and it's still open and sexy today, with that classic, incredible perfume that only seems to come from this estate. Kirsch, garrigue, new saddle leather, truffles and spice are just some of the nuances, and this ruby coloured beauty is stacked on the palate, offering full-bodied richness, sweet tannin and a bombastic style that's reminiscent of the 1990. It's a heavenly wine that I suspect will have a long life and drink beautifully for all of it.

Jeff Leve - The Wine Cellar Insider
Rich, dense, ripe and even over ripe to some degree, there is a lot going here. Intense, sweet, fat juicy, red berries, kirsch, earth, herbs, barnyard and figs on the mouth and palate. There is a touch of heat, but there is such a wealth of fruit here, I suspect everything will come together as it ages.

Adrian van Velsen - vvWine
The wine was powerful with an almost overwhelming aromatic profile, immensely complex and an aromatic rollercoaster throughout the evening. Thyme, plums, smoke, orange, Christmas spices, bacon, leather. The palate voluminous but despite 15% alcohol not fiery, masses of tannins, sensational acidity, immensely dense and concentrated, yet highly elegant and with a never-ending finish.

Domaine Henri Bonneau
Henri Bonneau (born in 1938) is the 12th generation of winemakers. He produced his first vintage in 1956. His estate covers only 6 hectares, primarily Grenache which normally accounts for over 90% of the blend, with small quantities of Mourvèdre, Counoise and Vaccarèse added. Henri Bonneau decides which cuvées he will make for each vintage. Sometimes one, or perhaps up to four. A brilliant winemaker and mischievous man, he continues to produce wines with a unique personality, outside of any fashion, trend or influence. Whether it's the ageing process or bottling, nothing here follows any financial logic or the standards of modern oenology. Unfortunately, the various cuvées, produced in very limited quantities, are particularly difficult to find.
