Château La Mondotte
Château La Mondotte is a Bordeaux wine estate located in the Saint Emilion appellation. Located near Château Troplong Mondot, Château La Mondotte produces only red wines from a vineyard covering 4.5 hectares, mainly composed of Cabernet Franc and Merlot. The average age of the vines is 60 years and harvesting is done by hand. La Mondotte is classified as a Premier Grand Cru Classé B in Saint Emilion's official classification.
The best vintages to consider are 1945, 1949, 1955 and the 1982 vintage. We also recommend Château La Mondotte 1989, La Mondotte 1997 as well as Château La Mondotte 2002.
