Robert PARKER - The Wine Advocate
A successful wine for the vintage, this blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, and 8% Petit Verdot boasts complex notes of menthol, black currants, plums, licorice, and a hint of cappuccino in its stunning aromatics. Dense, medium to full-bodied, with high levels of tannin in a big, full-bodied style (much in the spirit of such classic Bordeaux vintages as 1966, 1986, and 1996), this wine possesses superb purity and serious length, but should be purchased only by those with considerable patience and a good, cold cellar, since it will need plenty of time.

Jean-Marc Quarin October - 2022
Jean-Marc Quarin
Dark red colour, moderately intense and evolved. Moderately aromatic nose, fruity and vanilla-scented. The palate is seductive for the homogeneity of its progression, all edged with great tactile softness, with taste, with fruit. The wine finishes conquering, melting, perfumed and ultimately very good, without the presence of any tannin, which was not the case with previous bottles in this vintage.

Rich aromas of vanilla, chocolate and berry follow through to a full-bodied palate, with ultrafine tannins and a long, silky finish. Very fine indeed. Palmer shows power with finesse here.

Jeff Leve - The Wine Cellar Insider
Tobacco, forest floor, leaf and smoke create the perfume. Medium bodied with some dryness in the mouth, there is a minor sensation of green flavors, interspersed with the elegant, soft, red berry finish.

Château Palmer
Château Palmer

Château Palmer is a wine estate located in Gironde. In the Margaux AOC, it is classified as a third grand cru in the official 1855 Bordeaux wine classification.

Château Palmer, a grand cru, is a matter of origin in both time and space. The style of Château Palmer, rooted in history and dedicated to expressing its terroir, transcends fashions and trends. To experience its timelessness, there is no better way than to taste it.

The wines of Château Palmer reveal a bouquet of extraordinary complexity where fruits, flowers, and spices mingle, wrapped in a fleshy and generous structure. This subtle balance between aromatic richness and tannin power, always restrained, makes it a wine of incomparable charm from its youngest age. Its persistence leaves a haunting memory of mixed sensations and emotions.

The best vintages of Château Palmer are 1962, 1971, 1975, 1985, 1989, 1995, 1996, 2004, 2011...
