expert's opinions

Beautifully amber with age, warm with macerated fruits, orange citrus peel, refinement offers itself with marine freshness and subtle hidden smokiness. One enters the florist when red flowers emanate. The palate faithfully translates this floral eminence, elegance with the precise accuracy of a rich, oily and deliciously sublime finish.

Wine Enthusiast
First produced in the 1987 vintage to celebrate the marriage of owner Bernard de Nonancourt's eldest daughter, this bottling is now mature. Ripe, it still retains plenty of red fruits while also allowing the toasty character to show through. It's a rosé that calls for food, a rich and balanced wine that is just perfect to drink now.

Laurent Perrier
Created at the beginning of Nouvelle Cuisine, Laurent-Perrier Ultra Brut from Champagne Laurent-Perrier is the "naked" or "bare" champagne. This extraordinary champagne belongs to the brut nature category. It is a true demonstration of expertise and is increasingly interesting to modern wine enthusiasts who are thus discovering multiple occasions to appreciate champagne. Champagne Laurent-Perrier is composed of slightly predominant Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the LAURENT-PERRIER ULTRA BRUT is made only from wines from years of great maturity. A strict selection of grapes is made to keep only those that have both a high potential degree and low acidity, which allows the wine to achieve the desired balance without the addition of any dosage. The ideal aging is a minimum of four years. The character of Champagne Laurent-Perrier, with its non-saturating finish on the palate and its subtle balance, makes it the most "ecumenical" champagne in the range, a flavour enhancer, ideal from aperitif to dessert. A champagne that can be paired with caviar or seafood, or even foie gras, and why not, even a cigar!
