Dark ruby garnet, violet reflections, subtle lightening at the rim, delicately smoky-nutty undertones of black forest berry compote, fine minerality, a touch of chocolate, subtle candied orange zest, attractive bouquet. Juicy, good complexity, ripe cherry fruit, well-integrated tannins, refined acid structure, ripe red berry nuances, mineral and persistent, shows good length, a multifaceted food wine with good ageing prospects.

Here is the greatest vintage I have tasted at Dauzac before bottling. Very beautiful fruity nose, vanilla and finely oaked. Smooth palate, fuller than usual, more powerful on the finish and longer. Very flavoursome wine without an ounce of austerity. Bravo. When to drink: 2018 to 2035
