Tasted blind, undecantedf. One can only be full of admiration at the very unexpected result of this wine during this tasting. The colour is already evolved, the nose presents itself as fruity and simple. On the other hand, the palate seduces with its tenderness, its aromas and its mid-palate flavour. It finishes with a good length, finely woven and sappy, which highlights its very beautiful savour.

Château Chasse-Spleen is a 105-hectare wine estate. Chasse-Spleen produces one of the most remarkable wines of the Médoc, and certainly of the Moulis en Médoc appellation. The Château is classified as exceptional crus bourgeois in the first edition of the crus bourgeois classification. Established on four plots of quaternary gravel planted with 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 10% Petit Verdot,

The best vintages of Château Chasse-Spleen are 1929, the 1943 wines, 1945 wines, the 1949 vintage and 1953 vintage. The 1982 and 1985 vintages are exceptional and the 1989 wines, 2000 vintage and 2009 are exceptional years.
