Cellar Tracker January - 2018
Cellar Tracker
Light brownish with a nice core of brick red. Mature aromas of dried fruit (cherries),black tea leaves, dry wood and an iron streak. Not very intense, but elegant. Medium bodied, has clearly lost some fruit even if it still has a core of dried fruit and tea/tobacco. Dry aftertaste that also has a quite metallic feel to it. More interesting than really good, but it is still fascinating to drink something that is more than 30 years old and is still alive.

Robert PARKER - The Wine Advocate
The 1986 displays both power and elegance in a medium- to full-bodied format. The color is deep ruby, and on the palate, the wine exhibits classic black currant fruit, with a toasty, spicy oak component. This foursquare, somewhat monolithic wine does not lack tannin.
