Château La Tour Blanche

Château La Tour Blanche is a Bordeaux wine estate that produces sweet white wines. Made from traditional Sauternes grape varieties - Sémillon, Sauvignon and Muscadelle, this wine is the result of strict selection. The Château La Tour Blanche harvest is carried out through successive "pickings" requiring 5 to 6 passes through each row, to obtain only the best of the Noble Rot.

First Growth Sauternes, each vintage of Château La Tour Blanche is vinified and aged in entirely new French oak barrels for 20 to 24 months. However, the extreme quality policy at Château La Tour Blanche has led to some vintages being deemed merely passable not being bottled. This was the case for the 1992, 1993 and 2000 vintages. The average annual production is 40,000 bottles.
