Wine Spectator May - 1999
Wine Spectator
Loads of chocolate, berry and tobacco character here. Full-bodied, with firm, chewy tannins, a medium, ripe fruit aftertaste and a touch of coffee.

Robert PARKER - The Wine Advocate
Asian spice, black tea, chocolate, espresso, plum, figs, as well as copious quantities of sweet oak jump from the glass of this fully mature, expansive, ripe, medium-bodied wine. The acidity is low, the tannin is sweet, and the fruit is in full form.

Jean-Marc Quarin August - 1997
Jean-Marc Quarin
Dark red. Good intensity. Homogenious. Slight evolution on the edge. Clean. Medium intensity. Somewhat complex. Mocha, truffle, very ripe fruit. Supple attack, develops on the round structure, somewhat strong, complex flavors of melted fruit with the wood. The tannic evolution is closed and somewhat forward. The wine lacks fresh juice. A touch of bitterness on the final.
