Jean-Marc Quarin March - 1995
Jean-Marc Quarin
Bordeaux red color. Brown. Medium intensity. Evolved. Medium intensity nose. Very ripe animal and fruity nuances. Sharper when swirled. Intense. Very ripe and a little vegetal. Hint of alcohol. Soft attack. Develops on a round structure, of medium concentration. The frame relaxes a little in the middle of the mouth. Then, it is the charm of the caress of a wine without roughness that does its work. The finish has a taste of liquorice and tobacco. It is quite fine and complex, especially tasty.

A delicious, drink-me wine. Dark red, with an amber edge. Ripe fruit aromas, with truffle, meat and earth. Full-bodied, with soft, velvety tannins and a berry, tobacco aftertaste.

Jancis Robinson July - 2002

Quite pale and diffuse. Simple red wine. Very easy and fruity. At first there seems not to be much structure, then pinched tannins impose a vice-like grip at the end. Desperately needs food.
