Adrian van Velsen - vvWine December - 2019
Adrian van Velsen - vvWine
Dense ruby, still little age tones. Deep, cool nose, very classy, dark fruity, burnt wood, very complex, multilayered, ripe plums, also herbs, a poem. The palate is taut, straightforward, dense and concentrated, the fruit is still fully there, the tannins already well integrated, this has enormous pressure and lots of traction, shows energy and a top harmony. Ends very long lasting. Bordeaux at its best!

(2009) Complex aromas of dark chocolate, currant and cigar box. Full-bodied, with chewy tannins and a mouthpuckering finish. Still very concentrated and chewy. Finishes with loads of ripe fruits, tobacco and cedar. Big and juicy wine. Give it a couple of years still.

Jeff Leve - The Wine Cellar Insider
Old school styled Pauillac, with a combination of strict, austerity and a charming, cedar, tobacco, cigar wrapper, leaf and cassis personality, the wine is full bodied, fully mature, ending with a spicy, cassis finish. Give it an hour of air, at this stage. It will add softness and depth.

Château Lynch Bages
Château Lynch Bages

Château Lynch-Bages produces fifth classified growths of Médoc in the 1855 classification and a second wine called Echo de Lynch-Bages which is not classified. Under the Pauillac appellation, the Château Lynch-Bages vineyard covers more than 1,200 hectares.

The wine of Chateau Lynch-Bages is in line with the great Pauillac. Composed mostly of Cabernet Sauvignon, it combines structure and finesse, elegance and longevity. It is also distinguished by its wealth. Generous in his youth, he played in his maturity to more flavor and complexity. The style of wine Chateau Lynch-Bages refined over the years, gaining flexibility and softness, while regular wine settles in time.

Until today, Chateau Lynch-Bages is characterized by its extraordinary standard of quality. Powerful, sleek and open, the wine vintage after vintage acquires greater accuracy, combining the distinction in nature, which bases its hedonistic personality.
