La Revue du Vin de France January - 2020
La Revue du Vin de France
Guide vert 2020 Underpinned by soft, bright fruit, the Corton confirms its status as a truly great wine: breadth and fullness of flavour, deeply integrated tannins, seamlessly absorbed oak, a sleek, dynamic finish and a note of candied raspberry. A truly great bottle!

This red starts generously, its supple texture tempering vivid acidity and firm tannins and allowing the cherry, strawberry, blood orange and spice flavours to shine. It closes down on the finish, showing more structure than fruit. Notes of liquorice and sandalwood come into play.

James Suckling February - 2019
James Suckling

Jancis Robinson November - 2018
Jancis Robinson
Medium cherry red. Smells ripe, sweet and generous, with red fruit and a touch of pepper. Gorgeous harmony between ripe, fresh, generous fruit and well-judged structure. Succulent, fine, slightly chewy and remarkably approachable even now. Very, very long.

Domaine Faiveley
DOMAINE FAIVELEY Merchant and owner - 117 hectares, one of the largest in Burgundy - Faiveley, a family-run business led by François Faiveley, is a unique case. Tasting some Burgundian négociants would lead us to believe that sound management consists of acquiring poor wine from winemakers cheaply and spending a lot of money to say: "We are the best!"
