CHÂTEAU CROIZET BAGES 1982
Tasting notes : Aged for 12 to 14 months in French oak barrels, the wines are fine and have a velvety texture. Rich, deep, elegant, over time, Château Croizet-Bages opens up aromatic horizons of plum, cocoa, spices and leather.
Grape variety / Blend : Cabernet-sauvignon 58%, Merlot 39%, Petit verdot 3% (variations are possible from one vintage to another)
Aging : 12 months in oak barrels

Much better than I anticipated. Brilliant ruby-garnet colour. Very fresh, with blackberry, dark chocolate and cherry. Full-bodied and concentrated, with plenty of fruit and velvety tannins.
