The 1983 Gewurztraminer Selection de Grains Nobles is bright amber in colour. It is beautifully clear and intense, very precise and with lovely spicy aromas. The wine is very sweet but also piquant, very dense, and firmly structured with grip and good tannins; it is quite powerful in the finish, nicely drying, and a good food wine with fire and length.
