Jean-Marc Quarin February - 1990
Jean-Marc Quarin
Dark red colour with brick nuances. Good intensity. Bright. Clean nose, very intense and refined. Fresh and also candied notes. Nuances of plums and blond tobacco. Hint of smokiness. Complex. On swirling, clean and of good intensity. Animal nuances then of dead leaves. Quite vinous. Clean attack, supple and round. Development on a voluminous, intense structure, which evolves on a well-balanced tannin, firm, with less savoury astringency than the previous wine. Finishes powerful and long on slightly candied and woody flavours. Seems closed. To wait for.
