Adrian van Velsen - vvWine
Bright ruby. Deep nose, very mineral, demanding, smoke, also floral notes, very complex. Restrained opening, then the fruit reveals itself, many red berries, also dark fruits in the background, immensely delicately spiced, highly elegant and precise, finest tannins, sensational acidity, everything is in its place. Exceptionally good length on the finish, a hit. 2018-2038, 19 vvPoints (94/100)

Robert PARKER - The Wine Advocate
The 2015 Chambolle Musigny Village contains around 5% whole bunch fruit. It has an understated bouquet at first, needing just a few swirls of the glass to reveal red cherry and cranberry nose with purity rather than power. The palate is very well balanced with crunchy red fruit, wonderful acidity, fresh and with a touch on confit fruit on the engaging finish. What a delicious village cru this will grow up to be.

Domaine Georges Roumier
Domaine Georges Roumier

Domaine Roumier is an estate that produces Burgundy wines. Founded in 1924 by Georges Roumier, then taken over in the early 1980s by Christophe Roumier who had joined his father Jean Marie Roumier. Located in the commune of Chambolle Musigny, the estate spans nearly 12 hectares of vineyards.

The harvest is traditionally done by hand and the grape varieties produced are Pinot Noir for red wines and Chardonnay for white wines. Domaine Roumier is not certified organic and does not seek the label, however, they do not use any chemical products in their vineyards.

The limestone and clay-limestone soils enhance and characterize the estate's terroir. Domaine Roumier produces five Burgundy Grand Crus: Bonnes Mares, Musigny, Charmes Chambertin, Ruchottes Chambertin and Corton Charlemagne in white wine.

The star wine of Domaine Roumier is the Musigny Grand Cru. A wine with growing reputation from the Côte de Nuits.
