expert's opinions
Dark berry compote, fine spice hints, orange zest, ethereal nuances. On the palate very elegant and fresh, young morello cherry fruit, present tannins, playful and finely structured, mineral finish, finesse.

A really nice showing for this wine. It is just coming out of its deep sleep. Lush, silky, polished and long. The waves of liquorice, espresso, black cherry, dark plum, smoke and background notes of flowers gets the wine off to a good start. Long and lingering, with a nice touch of crushed stone in the finish, even though this is still young, with air, you can pop a cork, else 3-5 years will add a lot here

Intense robe. Nose of macerated red and black fruits, with very pronounced oak. Ample, powerful and melted attack, extending into a firm and oaky finish, fortunately counterbalanced by a touch of freshness. Beautiful length. A massive wine.

Dark, intense, beautiful colour. Fruity, pure, ripe, creamy and exotic nose. Broad on the attack, powerful and voluminous in the middle, this wine evolves flavourful and very aromatic. Slightly square tannic finish. Good length. When to drink: 2020 to 2040

Very fruity aromas hint that this is a bright wine, its tannins shaded by the red and black berry flavours. The structure is integrated, showing ripe as well as fresh fruit with final flavours of chocolate.

Massive, impetuous, extract-rich and characterful wine, virtually indigestible at this stage, which corresponds exactly to its style; must age. Drinking window: 2020 to 2030

Blackish purple. Evolved rim. Sweet, rather cooked nose. Very round and voluptuous but actually a tad sickly initially and then the acidity is a late addition on the palate. Certainly burgundian. A bit dry and chewy on the end.
