In 1446, Jean and Nicolas Moët are ennobled by King Charles VII. Thus is born a lineage that later gave its name to the best saga in the history of champagne. One of the descendants of the Moët brothers Claude Moët, a wine merchant in Epernay since the early 18th century, founded in 1743, the Moët.
