Bordeaux red colour. Medium intensity. Evolved. Green nose. Vegetal. It lacks the brightness of the fruit. Light and pleasant wine but lacking density and finish. Simple and to be drunk quickly.

Château Lascombes

Château Lascombes is a wine estate located in Margaux in the Gironde department. In the Médoc AOC, it is classified as a Second Growth in the official 1855 Bordeaux wine classification.

The 50 hectares of Château Lascombes vineyard (55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc, 35% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot) benefit from deep gravel soils. Château Lascombes estate practices green harvesting every year to improve wine quality by achieving greater concentration. Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, malolactic fermentation of Merlots in barrels. Ageing for 18 months in 60% new oak barrels, fined with egg whites.
