Bordeaux red color. Medium intensity. Evolved. Green nose. Vegetal. It lacks the brightness of the fruit. Light and pleasant wine but lacking in density and lacking in finish. Simple and to drink quickly.

Information on the vintage 1988 red Bordeaux : The first of a trio of very good vintages and the penultimate vintage of a more than interesting decade. This very good vintage is undervalued; but in the end, time and tannin will be jostling for supremacy.
