Jean-Marc Quarin
(2-1997) Colour: Dark red. Medium intensity. Bright. First Nose: Clean. Medium intensity. Fruity. Touch of vanilla and vegetal notes. Swirling: Similar. Palate: Soft attack. Medium concentration structure, developing rounded, flavourful, balsamic in mid-palate, on melted tannins, towards a finish that holds on the fruit. Lovely.

(5-2013) A classic nose of fine Bordeaux. This second wine has all the qualities of a great one. The nose is pure. The palate perfectly balanced, aromatic, silky. An excellent quality-price ratio.

Château Lagrange
Château Lagrange

Château Lagrange, a Grand Cru Classé in 1855 located in the western part of the Saint-Julien appellation in the heart of the Médoc wine region. The Château produces 3 wines. The blending of the red wines, which both benefit from the Saint-Julien appellation, leads to the differentiation between the Grand Vin "CHATEAU LAGRANGE", generally produced from old vines with an average age of over 30 years, and the Second Wine "LES FIEFS DE LAGRANGE", which comes from younger vines. The dry white wine with Bordeaux appellation "LES ARUMS DE LAGRANGE" is one of the estate's curiosities. Its production is very limited and represents no more than three percent of the total production.
