La Revue du Vin de France January - 2023
La Revue du Vin de France
Guide vert 2023 A little step back in time with this 2015. It is nourished by sun-drenched fruit ranging from mandarin to Damascus apricot. On the nose one might expect a very broad wine, but on the contrary, even though the volume is not lacking, it stretches in length with lovely bitter notes. A deep wine with relief that drinks easily despite a beautiful ageing potential.

Andreas Larsson - Tasted
Bright medium deep golden colour. Intense nose, honey, candied fruit, pineapple, apricot, saffron and almond paste with discreet oak. Broad palate, dense and viscous with layers of yellow fruit, pastry, nutty notes and a vivid spiciness. Long dense and lingering finish, mild acidity but still a good notion of freshness.

Falstaff May - 2016
Falstaff
Medium golden yellow, silver reflections. Ripe yellow pear fruit, delicate orange zest, subtle floral honey. Juicy, ripe pineapple, noticeable residual sugar, somewhat cloying — unfortunately lacking the acidity that would make the whole thing exciting.

Intense, very rich. Massively sweet but with really interesting undertow of beeswax and a lightly bitter note. Lots going on here! Flowers and honey dominate.
