Falstaff January - 2004
Falstaff
An absolute highlight of the standard bottle: young yellow-green, lively perlage, smoky and very typical, showing a freshly grated zest, crisp in the mouth, a lovely sweetness, but also limoncino, a wine with great substance, blood oranges, in a beautiful phase of late youth, a great freshness on the finish, an experience.

Michael Broadbent
Still pale; 'warm' rich nose; soft, sweet, à point. A very pleasant drink, holding surprisingly well.

Wine Spectator
Light to medium body, this is an elegant, discreet and balanced Champagne that has a creamy, smooth mouth-feel and delivers some truffle, honey, lime and hazelnut notes. Refined finish. Perfect to drink now

Dom Perignon
Dom Perignon

Dom Pérignon is the prestige cuvée of the Moët & Chandon house, in Champagne. Born in the wake of the Hautvillers abbey, it follows a unique rule: to exist only as a vintage wine, from a single harvest year, in a blend of chardonnay and pinot noir sourced from the great terroirs around Épernay. A long ageing on lees gives it its fine bubble and its style that is at once powerful and refined.

From 1921, the very first vintage of the house, to the 2006 wine, Dom Pérignon lines up champagnes built for long ageing: the 1969, the 1993 vintage, the Dom Pérignon 1996 and the 2002 rank among the house's benchmark wines.
