expert's opinions
Bright light golden colour with a youthful mousse. Pure nose with bright and floral aromas, pale stone fruit, ripe citrus, almond and some brioche notes. The palate is elegant with medium weight, pure and fresh fruit, some buttery and almond notes, nice creamy mid palate and plenty of freshness on the finish. Still youthful but nuanced with good grip and length. Very classy.

This wine is still young, reveling in its bright fruit and mineral texture. Drawn from Côte des Blancs vineyards, it's tight, tense and loaded with citrus fruit. With its finely crisp aftertaste, it's delicious now for its fruit but will also be great from 2020, once its toasty character develops more fully.

This elegant Champagne seamlessly marries sleek acidity and the fine and creamy mousse with notes of baked peach, pastry cream and mandarin orange peel and a subtle, smoke-tinged finish. Appealing for its accessibility today.

Deutz's 2010 Blanc de Blancs Brut opens quite clear, fresh and fruity on the open, elaborate and very fine nose from which I pick up some popcorn, burnt milk, toast and yeasty notes but also stewed seed fruit and a possibly a hint of botrytis. On the palate, this is a round, finessed and elegant Chardonnay with a firm, mineral structure, grip and good length.

Château informations
Champagne Deutz: Delicious, subtle, generous, and indulgent. Champagne Deutz embodies all the clichés of the world's most festive wine. The Champagne Deutz supply vineyard is qualified as "very high percentage", which means exceptional in the Champagne classification of parcels. Only the first juices from pressing, the purest and finest, are allowed in the bottle. 30 months of patience are necessary for the maturity to be achieved in the cellar.
