Wine Spectator March - 2019
Wine Spectator
This is very suave, with mocha and smouldering tobacco flavours laced with fig, plum and blackberry notes. A flash of sweet tapenade and iron helps extend the finish, which has lovely latent minerality. This shows great restraint, considering its power of fruit. Best from 2015 through 2027

Deep in colour, the perfume is filled with liquorice, coffee, blackberry, blueberries and smoke. Round and supple in texture, the wine finishes with sweet, jammy black cherries.

Falstaff February - 2013
Falstaff
Dark ruby garnet, violet reflections, delicate brightening at the rim. Fine red berry fruit nuances, delicately floral underlaid, attractive bouquet. Juicy, freshly structured, elegant, pleasant forest berry compote, adheres well, good ageing potential, already enjoyable to drink.
