Ruby colour, some bricking at the rim. Beautiful aromas of plum, blueberry and wet earth with some hints of barnyard and hazelnut. Medium bodied and smooth on the palate with well integrated tannins and a nice overall balance. Medium finish.

Château Certan Giraud

This Certan Giraud vineyard, which adjoins Petrus, produces a high-level cru whose quality has continued to grow. It displays great aromatic richness. Very ripe, it is full-bodied and voluptuous on the palate. Its bouquet proves to be fine and elegant. In 1999, the Giraud family sold the Certan Giraud vineyard to Etablissements Moueix, and the cru was renamed Château Hosanna.
