Château Grand Corbin Despagne is a Bordeaux wine estate located in the northwest of Saint-Emilion. Château Grand Corbin Despagne is a Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Emilion. The vineyard extends over nearly 38 hectares of vines, primarily Cabernet Franc and Merlot. In 2013, the Château obtained organic certification. A few years later, in 2018, trial plots were cultivated using biodynamic methods. No fewer than seven generations have succeeded each other at the helm of the estate. 

The best vintages of the estate are 1945, 1949 and the 1961 vintage. We also recommend the Château Grand Corbin Despagne 1986, Grand Corbin Despagne 1988 and Grand Corbin Despagne 2000.

It became a Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Emilion in 1954 before leaving this classification in 1996. At that time, François Despagne, a passionate winemaker representing the 7th generation, took over the management of the Château. After several years of effort, Château Grand Corbin Despagne regained its place in the classification, among the Grand Crus Classés of Saint-Emilion.
