Maison Moillard

Since 1850, when it was founded by Symphorien Moillard, Maison Moillard has been carrying out extensive winemaking and aging processes that bring wines to their full potential. This long and meticulous work takes place in their beautiful cellars, which you can visit. Maison Moillard also owns parcels in Romania, a large estate in the Pays d'Oc region, and is associated with other Burgundian owners. Vosne Romanee Red, Savigny Les Beaune Red, Pommard Red, Nuits Saint Georges Red, Gevrey Chambertin Red, Corton Charlemagne White. "From Vines to Cellars". A highly regarded house from Nuits-Saint-Georges, Moillard (Thomas family) knows the Côte region well and can recruit successful cuvées under its banner. Bright ruby with purple reflections, this Santenay passes the first test with flying colors. Candied, animal, spicy, complex, the bouquet intrigues the jury. The main examination arrives: fullness, structure, and a slightly dominant vivacity that doesn't upset the balance. Result: a wine that will have an honest career without being the top of its class. This has happened to so many others!
