Passionate and in love with the marvellous bird that is the woodcock, it is in this sense that the name of the estate has been associated with a poetic nickname such as "La Mordorée" (The Golden Plover). The "La Plume du peintre" (The Painter's Feather) cuvée is also produced during exceptional vintages.
